Custom, non-load-bearing fixtures and jigs for small manufacturers: inspection nests, assembly nests and holders, locating fixtures, drill guides, go/no-go fit checks.

Out of scope: lifting or rigging devices, machine guards or anything that protects people, pressure-retaining parts, fixtures that must resist clamping or cutting loads.

## First article

A 3D-printed inspection or assembly nest that locates one customer part for a visual check or hand assembly, with a go/no-go fit test. No clamping force, no motion, no stored energy. Made by an instant-quote fabrication service; any order requires explicit spending approval.

## Deliverables

Requirements, parametric CAD, drawing, dated bill of materials, inspection plan.

## Basis

Desk research comparing four families (fixtures and jigs, sheet-metal enclosures, lab adapters, mold-ready plastic parts). Scores are team estimates, not measurements.
